We quite often host visits from school children, or take several llamas out to schools, something that is fun for everyone involved! While we cover the history of llamas and what you can do with llamas in an informal presentation, what the students seem to enjoy most is feeding and petting the llamas. As you can see by the pictures, the llamas tend to enjoy it, too! School visits are typically the grand finale for a class that has studied geography, animals, or the letter L. We work with the teachers to plan a program that is compatible with the grade level and lesson plan they studying. Everyone loves to see the Llamas, so it doesn’t matter if it is for your kindergartners or your seniors give us a call. Please note that as a working ranch, we have certain constraints on our time availability and the distance we can travel with the animals. We have increased the number of outside visits to a total of twenty during this school year, and are scheduling them for Wednesdays. It is easy to set up a visit to Phone: 309-822-0041 The llamas would love to have you stop by, |
